The recommended transportation plan improvements were presented
to the Watertown City Council for their approval on November
7, 2005.

PUBLIC
MEETING SUMMARIES
Three public meetings have been held for the Watertown Area Transportation
Plan.
A kick-off meeting was held on September 28,
2004. The purpose of this
meeting was to give an overview of the study and collect transportation
issues, problems and opportunities from those in attendance. A summary
of the issues identified at the September 2004 public meeting are
included in Section Three.
A second public meeting was held June 9, 2005.
This meeting gave an update on the study, including summaries of:
• Identified
Transportation System Issues
• Study Goals and Objectives
• Existing Conditions
• Land Development Concept
• Future Deficiencies
• Initial Screening of Improvement Alternatives

The third and final public meeting was held on September
20, 2005. This meeting presented a preliminary list of the various
roadway,
trail and transit improvements that will be included in the final transportation
